Veera Smart Solutions Completes Phase 2 of Carivan, Expanding the Platform into Private Tour Booking

Veera Smart Solutions Inc. is pleased to announce the successful completion of Phase 2 of Carivan, marking another important milestone in the development of the transportation and travel booking platform created for Tick Tours & Travels Ltd.

Following the successful delivery of Phase 1, which established Carivan’s core transportation booking and management capabilities, Phase 2 expands the platform into a broader travel experience by introducing a flexible Tour Management and Booking System.

The new functionality allows Carivan to move beyond point-to-point transportation and offer travellers the ability to explore, customize, and book tours directly through the same digital platform.

A Flexible Tour Booking Experience

Phase 2 was designed around flexibility for both travellers and Carivan administrators.

Through the platform, different tours can be created and presented with their own destinations, routes, durations, pricing structures, highlights, included services, and booking conditions.

Travellers can browse available tours and review detailed information about each experience before making a reservation.

The booking process allows customers to select their tour date, pickup time, and pickup location, specify the number of adults, children, and infants travelling, and select available extras based on their individual requirements.

The platform also supports different tour structures, including private and group-based travel experiences, providing greater flexibility in how tourism products can be configured and offered to customers.

Combining Tours and Transportation

One of the important capabilities introduced in Phase 2 is the closer integration between tour booking and transportation services.

Customers can book a tour independently or combine their tour with transportation through the Carivan booking journey. This creates a more unified experience for travellers who may require airport, cruise terminal, hotel, or other transportation services as part of their visit to British Columbia.

The platform has been designed to accommodate luggage requirements as well, helping make the tour experience particularly relevant for travellers arriving in or departing from the region.

Detailed Tour Information

Each tour can provide travellers with comprehensive information before booking, including the itinerary and destinations, tour duration, major stops and highlights, included and excluded services, passenger requirements and available optional extras.

For example, the newly implemented tour experience demonstrates destinations and attractions across British Columbia, including Vancouver, Whistler, Shannon Falls, Horseshoe Bay, Victoria and Butchart Gardens.

Customers can review these details and complete their booking within the same digital environment.

Giving Administrators Greater Control

An important objective of Phase 2 was to ensure that the system remains flexible from the operational side.

Rather than creating fixed tour products that require development changes whenever a new experience is introduced, the platform has been structured so that Carivan administrators can define and manage different tour offerings according to operational and commercial requirements.

This provides Carivan with greater flexibility to introduce new destinations, configure different types of tours, accommodate varying passenger numbers, and adapt its tourism offerings as the business grows.

Carivan Introduced to the Vancouver Iranian Professionals Network

The completion of Phase 2 was also marked by the introduction of the Carivan platform at a meeting of the Vancouver Iranian Professionals Network.

During the event, Hamed Mamdouh, CEO of Tick Tours & Travels Ltd., introduced Carivan to attendees and presented the platform’s concept and functionality.

Participants had the opportunity to become familiar with how Carivan works and how the platform brings transportation and tourism booking capabilities together within a single digital experience.

The presentation represented an important step in moving Carivan beyond the development environment and introducing the platform to a broader professional audience.

From Transportation Booking to a Broader Travel Platform

The completion of Phase 2 represents an important evolution of Carivan.

While Phase 1 established the technological foundation for transportation booking and operational management, Phase 2 extends that foundation into tourism experiences and tour booking, creating new opportunities for Carivan and Tick Tours & Travels to provide travellers with integrated services.
